Easy Auction Blog

Easy Auction is designed to make internet auctions more enjoyable for all, and to enhance the eBay experience. As promised, here are the proposed features for Easy Auction by the time it launches in September-October 2009. Features will be confirmed on this blog once they have been integrated into the site:

• Exciting articles- a dedicated article section will ease new users into the world of internet auctions and eBay. Topics such as PayPal and the eBay feedback system will be covered in enough detail to inspire confidence. New and existing eBay users will enjoy reading about the history of eBay as well as some successful bidding strategies and the benefits of using eBay.

• Wide range of product categories- users from both the US and UK will have their own product pages. Based on user feedback, featured auctions will be specific to the country and specific to the chosen product category. Superior filtering will mean that auctions will be specific to the particular chosen product category. This will allow instant access to highly relevant listings as well the ability to track auctions using RSS (see below).

• Live RSS feeds for all product categories- users will be able to subscribe to feeds for product auctions of a specific category. The RSS feeds can be filtered based on the format (i.e. internet auction or buy it now) and other attributes such as the current price, number of bids and auction end time.

• Live eBay news- relevant eBay-related news will be featured on the home page, allowing users to get on top of changes to eBay as well as following any interesting developments or notable auctions. RSS subscription options will also be provided.

• Feedback options- users are more than welcome to contact Easy Auction with questions and suggestions. The site navigation and features will be fully explained on-site, but even if you are just after a particular product Easy Auction will be able to offer swift assistance. You are welcome to contact me via the blog (full links and RSS subscription will be included on the website) or via the feedback form provided.

• Daily deals- the website will feature truly unmissable internet auctions- the very best bargains on eBay! These will be updated at multiple times throughout the day, and will be relevant to the country you are visiting from.

• PayPal only- in one of my articles I discuss at length the advantages to using PayPal. It is therefore courteous for me to ensure that all products featured on Easy Auction provide PayPal as a payment option and are therefore protected internet auction or buy it now items.

Remember that the blog will be updated to follow the progression of Easy Auctions and all its features. I will periodically add new articles to the Easy Auction site prior to the full September-October launch: subscribe to the blog RSS feed to be instantly notified of new article launches.
