Quick product selector added and issues fixed

A quick product selector has been added to the Easy Auction homepage. This will allow you to get straight to the internet auctions or sale you’re after without the RSS feeds, extra information about the products and refined selection that accompanies the normal products section.

Some minor website issues have also been fixed:

- UK mobile phone page text read “cell phones”, which is of course an Americanism and the incorrect term for UK users

- Shoes and clothing section now correctly titled and description matches the section. The previous version of this page contained a strange mish-mash of the intended information as well as information from the watches and jewellery section

- iPod and electronics text links now correctly target a new page, rather than opening in existing window

Easy Auction HTML fixes complete

Just a quick message to let you know some good news -all Easy Auction pages have had their HTML fixed and all errors fixed. This should mean the pages load more efficiently and are liked more by Google and other search engines. It also means that I can get on with providing you some new content. As you’re aware, the Easy Auction product pages are not yet complete, so that will be the first port of call.

I hope you enjoy the changes and continue to support the future of internet auctions!

Easy Auction now more reader friendly

Just a quick update. I’ve reformatted Easy Auction to make it… Well… easier on the eyes. I have altered the text in bold so it is more meaningful and in context. I have also corrected some spelling and gramatical errors whilst I was at it. I hope you enjoy the changes .

Easy Auction blog now recategorised

The Easy Auction blog has been recategorised, allowing you to easily find the posts you are interested in. The sidebar on the right provides a list of categories, including internet auctions, easy auction updates, format issues and proposed features.

Just a quick note- I am particularly busy at work at the moment. Since I don’t want to rush the Easy Auction website- as I want it to be a genuinely useful internet auction resource, I have pushed the expected launch date for Easy Auction back to Late 2009. I appologise for the ambiguity and any inconvenience this may have caused. I would like to be more specific, but I don’t want to make any false promises. It may be ready in line with the original schedule, it may not. But as I said- I want Easy Auction to provide a unique and exciting internet auction experience, and I will not rush it!

Quick Firefox issue fixed

For some reason Firefox disliked my Easy Auction homepage header text and displayed “made easy” in a larger font than the “Easy Auction- intenet auctions”. I have therefore removed this text from the header and added it to the title instead. Highlighted text on the main page was also removed due to an Opera incompatability issue and generally unclean look.

Easy Auction reformatted for Firefox

Just a quick update. A couple of formatting issues meant that certain pages of the website were displaying incorrectly on Mozilla Firefox. Although nothing major, we want your internet auction experience on Easy Auction to be seamless. These small aesthetic issues have been ironed out so you can now view and enjoy Easy Auction as intended on Firefox.
