I hope you all had a wonderful New Year, and we at Easy Auction wish you all the best for 2010. We have removed the Christmas decorations from the website and changed a few things about – just minor changes. The “quick product selection” feature has been disabled, as we felt it detracted from the internet auction experience the site offers. We are currently looking at new additions to the unusual products section as well, and we will keep you informed if anything is added.

Easy Auction wishes all its users and readers a very Merry Christmas, and a happy new year! Some subtle changes have occurred to the Easy Auction website, but these changes should not hamper the user experience. Google advertisements are now placed in select parts of the website, mainly in place of existing eBay advertisements which some people were not fond of. Hopefully you will find the ad content useful and relevent to your search for easier internet auctions.

A quick product selector has been added to the Easy Auction homepage. This will allow you to get straight to the internet auctions or sale you’re after without the RSS feeds, extra information about the products and refined selection that accompanies the normal products section.

Some minor website issues have also been fixed:

- UK mobile phone page text read “cell phones”, which is of course an Americanism and the incorrect term for UK users

- Shoes and clothing section now correctly titled and description matches the section. The previous version of this page contained a strange mish-mash of the intended information as well as information from the watches and jewellery section

- iPod and electronics text links now correctly target a new page, rather than opening in existing window

The main page of Easy Auction now features the daily deal  promotion.

Easy Auction now features a Daily Deal. The daily deal (or in some cases, daily deals) is/are rotated daily between 8am-11am and are heavily discounted (sometimes up to 90%) from the retail price. The daily deal is also from a trusted eBay seller, so you don’t have to worry about being ripped off! As with all product sections, it is also possible to subscribe to the RSS feeds to keep track of live updates to the daily deal.

As well as the new daily deal section, you will also find a nifty little eBay search feature. This features some of the most popular products in your country and allows you to search freely for what you are looking for.

The Easy Auction sitemap is now complete. It can be accessed using the globe icon at the top of any page (except pages on the blog), and is regularly updated along with the website.
